I was Tim the Enchanter for Halloween at work this afternoon/tonight.

Got some pretty good reactions, including a teenage girl screaming out the back window at me as I was driving during my dinner break.

Pics will have to wait until I get home, because the bloody camera needs special software, which I don't have the access password to install on my work Mac, to connect to the computer by USB cable, and the photo Macs only have flash card readers -- no SD card readers.

But pics soon.

There exists a brilliant webcomic called A Miracle of Science, which is just wrapping up its story. But that's not really what this post is about.

The writer and the artist write of having gone to a Halloween party last weekend. The costume of the artist, Mark Sachs, consisted of a sign around his neck reading, "COSTUME DELAYED UNTIL 3Q 2007."

His day job is software development. Bet you couldn't have guessed.

I'm wearing a costume to work tomorrow. I'm keeping it a surprise until then. I hope to have pictures.
