Meteor, not satellite

A report on the Austin American-Statesman website says the official FAA word on Sunday's Central Texas fireball was that it was a garden-variety meteor, not satellite debris.

Don't think it was terribly garden variety. Bright fireballs are pretty uncommon. I did see mention on one of the astronomy lists that this is the right time for a particular daytime meteor shower though. That helps the chances a bit.
