Resurfacing

Unfortunately, I didn't finish Half-Blood Prince in time to write the Tribune-Herald's review. The features editor needed it in by this morning. I finished the book at 5:30 and needed to get some sleep (so I would be able to do the job they actually pay me for). Oh, well...

Warning: Extreme spoilerage

It's quite plain (other than to everyone in the book) that Dumbledore made Snape promise to kill him when the time came -- that's what Hagrid overheard them arguing about. Dumbledore was quite possibly dying anyway; that's why he was in such a hurry to find Snape: not because Snape could cure him but because it had to be Snape that killed him in order for Snape to survive having made the Unbreakable Vow. That's also why he immobilized Harry, so Harry wouldn't interfere to try to save Dumbledore and end up killing both Snape and Dumbledore.

And now I'm trying to figure out who R.A.B. is...
